School Management

Loreto Abbey is under the trusteeship of the Loreto Education Trust.  The trustees appoint an eight person Board of Management.  This Board oversees the management of the school.  Of these eight people, four are appointed by the trustees, two are elected parents and two are elected by the teaching staff.  The Board serves for a three year period.  The School Principal acts as Secretary to the Board of Management.

The Board of Management delegates responsibility for the day to day running of the school to the Principal.
